The Bread Distribution Project for deserving Families during Ramadan in Battagram and Mansehra was initiated with the aim of providing assistance to vulnerable families and individuals who are currently facing economic challenges due to extreme inflation (46%), and resultant poverty during the holy month of Ramadan. The project targeted families with little to no income who are the most vulnerable in the community. Through the provision of direct support in the form of bread distribution, the project aimed to promote the spirit of generosity, compassion, unity, and solidarity in the community. The project also sought to encourage community involvement and engagement by creating a source of earning through the installation of new bakeries for a few individuals.
