Koshistan Flood 2022: Emergency Response
In the wake of the catastrophic floods that struck various regions of Pakistan, including Kohistan District, we initiated a compassionate response to aid those affected. The floods wrought havoc, causing extensive damage to homes and the livelihoods of thousands of people. Our commitment to alleviating the suffering of these communities led us to focus our relief efforts in the areas of Ranolia and Dubair within District Lower Kohistan.
The main objectives of the flood relief activities in District Lower Kohistan were to provide immediate aid and support to the affected communities and to help them recover from the impacts of the floods. The activities included the distribution of 500 food packages and aid for the rehabilitation process, as well as the provision of warm clothes, quilts, and mattresses to help people fight the cold weather. The affected communities greatly appreciated the early food relief and shelter provided by Al-Termizi Trust, especially by children and women.
